You can choose to fish the famed Lizard Island as the Giant Black marlin congregate to spawn there in October, or follow the aggregation out into the Coral Sea to fish Flinders Reef at the prime time of the year in Late November/December. Flinders Reef and the Coral Sea - We are the only operation in the world to offer access to this newly discovered marlin fishery some 250 miles out in the Coral Sea. This area is being featured in a Marlin Magazine article in the March 2007 edition. Accessing these reefs via floatplane, you will be fishing a pristine coral atoll teeming with big black marlin, without another boat in sight. Fly in to find our 2 dedicated 36ft custom built gamefishing boats waiting to take you to fish truly untouched marlin grounds. Come back in the evening to our 80ft mothership anchored in a calm spot behind the reef and enjoy a cold drink on the top deck while our chef prepares dinner.

The Coral Sea Islands, particulary, Holmes, Flora and Flinders Reefs offer access to some of the best Black marlin fishing in the world in November and December each year. Added to this are huge numbers of sailfish, wahoo and big Dogtooth Tuna, and you have simply some of the best fishing available anywhere.

Lizard Island - The grounds around Cairns and Lizard Island are as good as anywhere in the world for giant black marlin. This area offers access to the beautiful anchorage at Lizard Island, and fishing on the famed Ribbon Reefs. October is prime time here, and also when the famous Lizard Island Black Marlin Tournament runs each year.
