Happy New Year to all our newsletter subscribers. We've got a huge year planned for 2009! There are some really exciting new ventures on the drawing board for us this year, and we are looking forward to sharing some more great action and creating more great memories with all of our guests in 2009. The video above was filmed at Elusive and Bugatti Reefs and is from a recent Escape with ET show that aired on the 10 Television network in Australia during December.

Diamond Islets December 2008 Trip Report

You simply cannot miss this report. The video footage contained in the trip report is spectacular. The dogtooth tuna, marlin, GTs and all the other usual suspects were going crazy at Diamond Islets. The fishing was simply superb, and we're not sure the pics in the report even do it justice, even though they are quite spectacular. For the full trip report simply

2009 Places filling fast!

Since the two ET shows in November and December, we've had a huge number of bookings for 2009 and we have limited places left at all locations, especially if you are after a whole boat or group booking. Marion/Elusive and Diamond Islets Ultimate Adventures and Bugatti Lagoon Explorers have very few places remaining. This is a just gentle reminder that if you are thinking about any of these trips, you need to call us on 1800 021 014 in the next few weeks to reserve a place.

NEW Nomad Tackle Website Launched

We have recently upgraded the nomad tackle website and it is now a completely seperate website to the Nomad Sportfishing website. We've got some new Nomad 40 size stickbaits in the store, which have already proven a huge success on barramundi, queenfish, tuna, trevally, and many other inshore sportish. To check out the new website CLICK HERE

Nomad Stickbaits to be featured in marlin magazine
Keep an eye out for the next edition of Marlin magazine. There will be an article detailing the use of stickbaits and minnows for marlin fishing. Anyone interested in knowing more about marlin on stickbaits should get a copy of this magazine, as there are some great rigging demo's in there.

New Online Nomad Rigging Videos

We have recently placed a number of demonstrational rigging videos on our tackle website. These videos will be updated regularly with all the latest tips and techniques. We want you to catch more fish, whether coming on a charter with us or not, and it is our aim to try and pass on all of the information we have learned from our charter experience to help everyone catch more fish when they get out on the water. If there is anything you'd particularly like to see featured in a rigging video, just email us and we'll do our best to feature it. To check out the latest rigging videos, just CLICK HEREC

Contender 25 back in action at Last

We've had a difficult few months getting some survey issues sorted with our new 25ft Contender, but it is now back in action, and will be a permanent part of the Nomad fleet for 2009, being used on all of our trips. This boat has proven to be a huge asset when chasing GTs in reefy areas, as the raised t-top allows the guide to see a lot more areas of reef and bait that might otherwise have gone unseen. For more information on this vessel, or any other Contender boat, check out www.wallrockmarine.com.au

NEW 25ft Noble Super Vee Centre Console launched
After several months of testing this vessel, we have also added a Noble Super Vee centre cab 25ft sportfishing vessel to the Nomad Fleet. This vessel, along with the 25ft Contender will be used on all Nomad charters for 2009. For more information on this vessel CLICK HERE.
