Capricorn Islands 2008
reck Reef
UNBELIEVABLE ACTION - Yes, we know you've heard all this before, but the GT fishing, and general light tackle sportfishing for queenies, golden trevally and a host of other species was simply astounding at the Capricorn Islands in February 2008. This block of trips confirmed this location as one of the best all round sportfishing destinations in Australia, with everything from incredible GT action to barramundi and spanish mackerel, all available in a similar area. Fishing ranged from 3 x 45kg+ GTs in a morning to hours of non stop action on queenfish and longtail tuna on light tackle, through to sensational fishing for big spanish mackerel.

Better still, give us a call soon to reserve a place for one of these trips in 2009, the demand is increasing rapidly, mainly because nearly all participants from 2008 have already rebooked for 2009. NEW 25ft Contender Centre Console on the way

We've been waiting a while for this, but we are pleased to officially announce the introduction of a 25ft Contender centre console into our range of vessels for the 2008 season. This new vessel will be promoted in Australia through our charter operation, and the initial tests show that this will be an extraordinary fishing vessel. The new vessel is currently in transit from the USA and should arrive in time for our May 2008 trips to Marion Reef. The reason for this vessel is to provide a higher level of fishing comfort to guests on our Ultimate Adventure trips, and also expand the range of fishing options for our Lagoon Explorer trips.
On our Ultimate Adventure trips we'll now be using this 25ft centre console along with our 2 x 36ft sportfishers as the primary fishing vessels, with a maximum of 4 anglers per vessel. We will also have two of our 18ft centre consoles along on these trips, and these can be used with 2 anglers per vessel when a group of 4 anglers decides not to use one of the 36ft vessels on any day.
This new vessel has furthered our commitment to quality service and comfort on all of our trips, and simply means that all guests on Ultimate Adventure trips will enjoy a range of vessels from 18ft-36ft, which is simply unmatched anywhere else in Australia.
