We had some great fishing action on our latest trip to Kenn Reef in September 2007. Heaps of BIG wahoo, yellowfin tuna, GTs, dogtooth tuna and many more. The world's best GT fishing rods are available exclusively in Australia through Nomad Sportfishing. We have just recieved a shipment of 7 only SP78EXH rods. We have 4 of them still available for sale at AUD$950. These rods are an excellent heavy duty popping rod, and if casting poppers in the 120-200gram size range is your thing, you will not find a better rod for it than these weapons. We have some more Carpenter rods arriving next month, but until then, it's first in for the remaining 4 rods.
As some of you will remember from last month, we had an amazing trip to Bugatti Reef, and places are filling fast for 2008. We recently managed a reconnaissance flight over the 100 miles or so of uncharted reef, and the results were simply stunning!!! This footage will make any GT fisherman drool!!!
We've just started our Lizard Island 2007 season, so keep an eye out for some exciting video footage next month and hopefully some footage of a few grander black marlin at the boat!! We still have some vacancies for 2008, but they are filling quickly.

- Filling Fast
The first half of 2008 is filling very fast. We have the following vacancies still available through until June 2008:-
Capricorn Islands 15th-21st February 2008 has 10 places available
Coral Sea Lagoon Explorer trips 20th-26th April 2008 have 11 places available
But that's all folks, so anyone interested in these dates will need to get organised. Anyone who intends to do these trips and has not yet paid a deposit will miss out unless you get in fairly soon.
So that we can continue to provide you with the excellent facilities and services that you have become accustomed to, and due to increasing diesel and jetfuel prices, we have introduced a new price structure for all of our Coral Sea Ultimate Adventure trips to the outer Coral Sea for next year. As of the 30th October 2007, the new pricing will become effective, and any trips for which a deposit has not been paid by this time will be subject to the new pricing. All Ultimate Adventure Trips for 2008 will now be charged at the same rate of $8950pp for all of the reefs that we visit. This means that if you were intending to do a trip in 2008 and want to book in at the old price of $7950, all you need to do is send us a deposit before the 30th October 2007.
We will most likely be officially announcing this news in the next newsletter, but we are likely to be using a new 25ft contender centre console in addition to the 2 x 36ft sportfishers and our existing 18ft centre consoles
for the Coral Sea Ultimate Adventure trips in 2008, adding a new dimension of comfort and fishing options for our clients. So even though the price may have risen a little, you can expect the facilities and level of service to rise in line with this.
More rods will be available from October 2007 onwards. The models that will be available are as follows:-

LR88 - October
TBL 80/30 RF-SHP- December
