Coral Sea Heavy Tackle Marlin Fishing xxx

Coral Sea Heavy Tackle Marlin Fishing

Heavy tackle marlin fishing in the Coral Sea for giant black marlin is one of the most exciting marlin experiences available anywhere in the world. You will fly out via seaplane to a remote isolated Coral Sea reef, either Flinders or Holmes Reef, and arrive to find our 80ft mothership, 2 x 36ft gamefishing vessels, 1 x 25ft, and 2 x 18ft centre console sportfishers waiting to take you for an amazing week of fishing.

We fish Flinders Reef in the Coral Sea for giant black marlin as part of our Ultimate Adventures trip packages, so for any info on travel, access, boats and tackle please check out the Ultimate Adventures pages for all the details on these trips. And if you want to experience the best black marlin fishing available anywhere, just give us a call.

Holmes and Flinders Reefs are on a migratory path for giant black marlin and during November each year there is an amazing bight of big marlin around these reefs. You need a mothership, a lot of fuel and floatplane access to fish these reefs and this means that the Nomad boats will most likely be the only ones you see for the whole week. Without the use of the mothership and floatplane, it is just too logistically challenging to fish these areas. Flinders and Holmes Reefs are basically untouched, and you'll get to experience one of the best marlin bites on earth, all on your own.
