The Coral Sea Lagoon explorer trips utilise our 80ft mothership, our 2 x 25ft centre consoles and our 2 x 18ft centre console sportfishing vessels. The Lagoon Explorer trip format allows access to the following Locations:-

• Bugatti Reef
• Elusive Reef
• Frederick Reef
• Bligh Reef

These trips offer access to the world's best GT fishing - try 520 GTs in a week or 55 GTs in a day - and also offer some of the best light tackle and general sportfishing options available anywhere. A huge range of species, and variety in fishing styles is what the Lagoon Explorer trips are all about. If you are interested in casting lures around shallow lagoons for massive GTs, coral trout, red bass, spanish mackerel, green jobfish and many other tropical brawlers then these are the trips for you. Opportunities also exist to target dogtooth tuna, wahoo, sailfish, and yellowfin tuna on poppers at Frederick Reef.

All our Coral Sea Lagoon Explorer packages feature 6 days fishing, comprising 5 full days and 2 half days fishing and you will spend 6 nights aboard the mothership. We offer bookings for individual anglers right throught to groups of up to 12 anglers.
