Coral Sea Ultimate adventures xxx

"The diving service exceeded all of my dreams and my confidence is now 1000% on what it was pre-trip. The last time I dived confidently was January 1993 so it was truly wonderful for me.
Once you understand that you will be totally fished out by the last day of the trip every time, you will be far more likely to take that half day off to dive in one of the most extraordinary locations on the planet. Just to experience the visibility at Marion Reef was the most amazing dive experience I have had, let alone the colours and fish and swim throughs and warm water…"

Ultimate Adventures Other Activities

There are a variety of other activities to get involved in, aside from the incredible fishing in the Coral Sea. Some of the available activities include:-

  • We have a NiTROX dive compressor onboard and can cater for all levels of scuba divers. You can combine a fishing trip with an introduction to Scuba course. Or for the more experienced divers, we can take you to dive some of the most amazing underwater sites imaginable. Visibility is 50m+ most days and the wall dives, cave dives and variety of marine life is simply unmatched.
We have a full range of top quality Scuba gear available for hire onboard. Gear hire and dives start from as low as $85/dive as part of a fishing trip package.
  • For those not interested in diving, snorkelling around the shallow reefs of the Coral Sea is a truly spectacular experience. The variety of marine life and coral will simply astound you.
  • The sand cays of the Coral Sea are home to nesting seabirds, turtles and many other amazing creatures. At the right time of year, you can watch turtles hatch on the beach, or watch mature green sea turtles and loggerhead turtles laying eggs.
  • The bird watching opportunities around the sand cays of the Coral Sea are simply unmatched anywhere in the world for nesting pacific ocean seabirds. Brown Booby birds, gannets, frigate birds, shearwaters and terns of many varieties call these sand cays home, and they are completely undeterred by human activity.
  • Walking the beaches of the many sand cays in the Coral Sea is a truly amazing experience. To walk around a small isolated sand cay where very few people have ever been is a truly amazing experience.
  • While you are at Hamilton Island, before or after your trip, Island air can take you for scenic tours of the Whitsunday islands, and take you to places such as Whitehaven beach, and many other incredible parts of the Whitsundays. This is the perfect group activity to fill in some time before flying out to the Coral Sea.
