We are occasionally looking for enthusiastic fishing guides, who hold a valid Queensland recognised open water Coxswain's ticket. The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties:-
- Guide one of our 18ft-25ft centre consoles in the Coral Sea
- Assist with maintenance of the mothership as required
- May be required to act as deckhand on one of the 36ft gameboats at times
The succesful applicant will be a team player, who can handle being at sea as part of a small team for between 24-28 days at a time. The position is full time and permanent and would involve a full time salary for the successful applicant. If you are the holder of a current master 5 ticket, and have an MED2 ticket as well we would like to hear from you. If you have a MASTER Class 4 or an MED 1, we would also love to hear from you. - Team player who gets along well with others
- Ability to spend 24-28 days at sea continuously
- Interest in fishing and diving
- Reasonable mechanical skills
- experience in the tourism industry
We are occasionally looking for young and enthusiastic fishermen, generally under the age of 19, who are interested in a future as a fishing guide and would be interested in a trainee position within our business. We usually only have 1 of these positions available each year, but we are always keen to talk with young enthusiastic applicants. Please note that this position is not a guaranteed vacancy, and will most likely not be available until the end of February 2009. We are currently seeking expressions of interest from people who might be interested in starting with us at the end of February 2009.

We are occasionally looking for chef's to fill in for some part time work to allow our full time chef some time off. We also like to keep resume's of any keen chef's on file for future vacancies.
