18ft Custom Centre Console Sportfishers
We have a selection of 3 primary 18ft centre console sportfishing vessels. These are all capable flats and sportfishing boats.
We currently have 1 Kevlacat Flycaster, and 2 x Ocean Whaler 565 Centre consoles. The Ocean Whaler vessels are new as of April 2009, and are our primary sportfishing and flats fishing vessels. These boats are fitted with 90hp 4 Stroke Suzuki engines, and are fitted out with full safety gear as well as the latest Raymarine electronics. The boats are equipped with casting platforms front and rear, and a centre console, from where our guides drive. These vessels are ideal for exploring the reef lagoons of the Coral Sea, Shoalwater Bay, Lizard Island and everywhere else we visit.
We have to say that the Ocean whaler vessels are by far the best 18ft sportfishing vessels we have ever come across, and the positive reviews we have recieved from guests since implementing these vessels has been astonishing.
These vessels have all been fitted with customised support cages at the front of the vessel allowing anglers to safely fish for large GTs dogtooth and other species in comfort and safety.
Being a tri hull vessel, they provide exceptional stability while at rest, and a very good ride in choppy water. These boats have allowed us to explore places that few people have ever been in the Coral Sea.
