Apart from being conspicuous by his absence from any photo from the past 2 years, Howard is our part time marine engineer, full time Mr. fix-it and onboard marine engineering consultant. Howard is a Class 1 marine engineer and has spent many years at sea working on large bulk carriers in various parts of the world. Howard brings a vast knowledge of everything marine, mechanical and electrical. He helped during the build process with the vessel, and has proven an invaluable source of information and assistance since the boat has been comissioned.
When Howard is not helping on the boat, he lives in Tully with wife Tamara. We're trying to convince both of them to come and work on the boat full time, but we'll take assistance from Howard whenever we can get it.
Howard comes south on various charters throughout the year, but generally always does the Kenn Reef trips with us. Howard is also a mad keen photographer, and the images on the onboard computer courtesy of Howard are something you don't want to miss while on a trip.
