Jason joined Nomad Sportfishing in early 2007 as one of our fishing guides. He is a highly experienced guide, and expert angler with conventional and fly tackle. Jason has spent several years working as a guide in the Northern Territory, and working at Cape Don Lodge on the Coburg Peninsula.
Jason has brought a wealth of knowledge with his expertise in soft plastic fishing and flyfishing having already proven highly beneficial aboard the boat. Jason has his coxswain's ticket and will be going for a master 5 ticket in the near future. He is an incredibly gifted fisherman and a valuable part of the Nomad team.
Jason's experience with many different styles of fishing over the years means that whatever style of fishing you are interested in doing, Jason will be able to provide you with a memorable day on the water.
You can find Jason skipperring one of our 18ft centre console sportfishers for most of the year, or on the deck of one of the 36ft vessels while at Lizard Island. His personal favourite types of fishing include fishing soft plastics for just about anything, casting poppers for GTs (he blames us for this affliction) and chasing billfish of any flavour.
