Capt. Dean Dibeler
Dean has been with Nomad Sportfishing since July 2008, and previous to this has worked as a fishing guide in some of the remote outer islands of Fiji. Whilst in Fiji, Dean was the head guide for a lodge on an exclusive island catering to a mainly US clientele. During his time in Fiji, Dean fished for giant trevally, dogtooth tuna and sailfish around the edges of the reef, and also guided clients on the flats whilst sight casting to many of the inhabitants of the shallow reefs.
Dean came back to Australia, and studied in Tasmania to gain his master calss 5 skippers ticket and also his marine engine driver grade 2 ticket.
Dean has proven himself to be a highly skilled and very professional guide, and he currently works as a fishing guide, skipperring our 18-25ft centre consoles, and is also deckhand on our 51ft Riviera gameboat whilst this vessel is on charter.
