It is 1998 that JACKNIFE, our original, trailblazing long jig, launched on the market.

The jig has baitfish-like long and thin silhouette resembling that of mackerel pike or saber fish preferred by predatory fish, which produces a great advantage in catch.  Considering other merits on practical side, such as excellent swimming performance in the water and easiness for high-speed short jerk in super deep area, it is quite natural that JACKNIFE  R won support from many anglers. 

In 2003, we changed the shape of wire for easier attachment of assist hook and also for greater strength.  More than anything else, we made a drastic cost reduction to launch a new “JACKNIFE R”.
